Argentina's Interior Minister Travels to Salta to Promote Labor Reform

The Minister of the Interior, Diego Santilli, is traveling to the province of Salta to meet with the local governor, Gustavo Sáenz, with the Labor Reform as the primary objective. According to the Argentine News Agency, the Executive's idea is to gather as much support as possible to grant a new legislative victory in February and to fulfill President Javier Milei's wishes. Since early January, the official has maintained an agenda marked primarily by visits to the provinces. This Monday, he will do the same in Salta, where he will meet with a governor who has a turbulent relationship with the libertarian administration. In early October, the Salta governor revealed his intentions to support the reform and admitted to being the one who advised him to use the term 'modernization.' 'We are going to seek, as we said, to accompany everything that needs to be accompanied, not to be afraid of changes, and they have to be done, but they also have to be studied, defined, and improved, so that we all come out with a good law,' he was reported to have declared. Likewise, he is scheduled to continue on Wednesday in Neuquén, with the idea of meeting with the provincial governor Rolando Figueroa, and on Thursday, he will repeat the plan in Entre Ríos when he visits Rogelio Frigerio again, one of the provincial ideologically aligned representatives.
