The Municipality of Tres de Febrero published a management report with the balance of its security policies during 2025, with a focus on technology, prevention, and territorial coordination between municipal areas. According to the Argentine News Agency, one of the key axes reported was the optimization of the video surveillance system: the municipality stated that it achieved a 95% operational visualization rate over the total installed cameras, with an increase compared to the previous year. In terms of assistance and prevention, the Municipality highlighted actions from the Victim Assistance Directorate and the dissemination of the "Ojos en Alerta" program, which —according to the report— allowed for contact with approximately 3,771 victims. Regarding resources, the Municipality reported the incorporation of 30 vehicles and 20 motorcycles and a scheme for vehicle removal and organization in different neighborhoods. Finally, it was reported the installation of 15 "Centros Comerciales Seguros" (Secure Shopping Centers) program totems in high-traffic areas such as Caseros, Ciudadela, Loma Hermosa, Villa Bosch, and Martín Coronado. They also indicated the implementation of a new application for Civil Defense, designed to register interventions in a traceable way and improve planning based on operational statistics. The document also included measures related to public space: the creation of school corridors, the opening of a new Civil Defense facility (Urquiza street), and the relocation of a detachment to improve territorial coordination.
