Milei blamed the oversized and ineffective bureaucracy for the failure to sign a trade agreement with the European Union, which has been postponed until January 12. The Argentine leader also emphasized the need for a modern, simple, and competitive tariff policy. At the end of his speech, Milei expressed his full support for the United States' pressure on Venezuela and called on other member countries to follow suit. He also reiterated his demand for the release of Argentine gendarme Nahuel Gallo, who has been detained in Venezuela for over a year.
