President Javier Milei highlighted the importance of the support provided by the Donald Trump administration in the months leading up to the October elections. According to the Argentine leader, the political and financial backing from Washington was a decisive factor in countering the 'kuka risk'.
Milei stated that for much of the year, various political sectors attempted to force a crisis, but the signal of confidence sent from the United States was key to maintaining stability.
This perception of external support was fundamental to dismantle what the President called 'the lies of the caste', as reported by the Argentine News Agency.
'The support they gave us made people think that they were lying,' Milei affirmed, and said that 'no one gives you a hand if you are going down'.
