Brazilian lawmaker Guilherme Boulos openly criticized Javier Milei on Tuesday, calling his social media post a "shameful attack." In the post, the Argentine leader showed a map of the two countries with notable differences. Through his X account, Milei posted a photo showing the silhouette of Argentina and neighboring countries (Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador) with futuristic buildings and a pristine environment, while the other part depicted Brazil, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Colombia, where only a large favela was visible. As reported by Noticias Argentinas, this angered Boulos of the Socialism and Freedom Party (PSOL), who called the Argentine president's message a "shameful attack": "It looks more like the hallucination of someone seeking advice from external voices to try and govern a country," he stated. Furthermore, Boulos asserted that "Milei is the face of the far right: stupidity and prejudice."

Milei's message was posted shortly after he received Chile's president-elect, José Antonio Kast, at the Casa Rosada, and included other posts of a similar nature, highlighting the advance of the left in South America.
