Buenos Aires, December 10 (NA) — The La Matanza branch of La Libertad Avanza (LLA) issued a statement on Tuesday asserting that councilor Leila Gianni "does not belong, does not represent, and is not authorized" to speak on behalf of the political bloc. According to the text, Gianni's departure from the bloc was "deliberate" and occurred on the very day she assumed her office, which was obtained through the votes of the local residents. The bloc stated that Gianni's attitude was "conscious and planned," with the aim of "generating internal division," and emphasized that "there was no real commitment to our ideas nor respect for the mandate of the ballot box." Furthermore, they indicated that the councilor "does not reside in La Matanza" and that her time in the bloc was "merely circumstantial and electoral, without actual militancy or territorial building." The signatories — Lorena Ramos, Gabriel Chaile, and Jimena Alonso — stressed that these actions "do not represent and have never represented La Libertad Avanza."
