Buenos Aires, December 10 (NA) – A 47-year-old woman was arrested accused of stabbing to death a retired police officer from the Buenos Aires province in the town of General Rodríguez. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the investigation began in September 2023, when the suspect entered the victim's home with the supposed intention of committing a robbery, where she allegedly inflicted at least 12 stab wounds, killing him. The suspect set the house on fire to hide evidence, took several belongings, and fled. She was later identified by authorities, and an arrest warrant was issued. UFI No. 12 of the Moreno-General Rodríguez Judicial Department delegated the investigation to officers of the Federal Police's Metropolitan Area North Division to locate and carry out the arrest of the fugitive. After carrying out various field tasks, officers confirmed that the suspect lived on a farm located on Calle Los Aromos, in the Maravillas del Oeste neighborhood. Guaranties Court No. 1 authorized the search, officers entered the premises, arrested the woman, and seized a mobile phone. The suspect is at the disposal of the Justice for the crime of "aggravated homicide".
