Argentina's LLA Senate Block to Strategize Villaverde Nomination Approval

The Senate's 'La Libertad Avanza' (LLA) block will meet next Thursday to devise a strategy for the approval of libertarian Lorena Villaverde's nomination.

The meeting, set for 4:00 PM, will bring together newly elected senators who will be sworn in on Friday and those with current mandates. It will be led by the future head of the LLA block, Patricia Bullrich, and aims to design a strategy to secure Villaverde's approval, which was rejected by the Peronists due to alleged ties to businessman Federico "Fred" Machado, who is accused of drug trafficking.

Additionally, Patricia Bullrich met with radical senators this Tuesday, confirming the government's proposed plan for handling bills during extraordinary sessions.
