National Senator for Unión por la Patria, Oscar Parrilli, stated that Argentina is going through a "gravely serious" situation in institutional and judicial matters, and criticized the handling of the Cuadernos case and the treatment of former Minister Julio De Vido.
"We are reaching a judicial bestiary," Parrilli stated in an interview with the 'Noticias Argentinas' program broadcast on Radio Splendid AM990.
Parrilli also highlighted the accusation by Cristina Kirchner, who denounced that in the file there were "supposed repentants who were tortured to testify in certain directions."
"If to this is added what they are doing with the Cuadernos case and with De Vido, we are facing something very serious," he pointed out.
Regarding the situation of the former Planning Minister, he emphasized that "the justice system did not find him guilty of the Once disaster," as he was acquitted in that case.
"They are convicting him for a case that was already prescribed. This has to do with the level of irrationality of the justice system, and with the seriousness of the economic situation that the people are experiencing."
