Within a provincial police internal affairs investigation, four individuals have been arrested, including two police officers who have been placed on leave. The operation, led by the Minister of Security and the Police Chief, originated from anonymous complaints. Following intelligence work by the Ministry of Security and the Police, four people were detained in El Cadillal on Tuesday. Two of them were men serving a sentence who should have been held at the Chuscha police station, and the other two were police officers. At the scene are Minister Eugenio Agüero Gamboa, along with the Chief and Deputy Chief of Police, Commissar General Joaquín Girvau and Commissar General Roque Yñigo. This investigation is part of an internal purification of the provincial force, directed by the Chief and Deputy Chief, and all corresponding police administrative measures are currently being taken.
