Claudio Contardi, the ex-husband of TV host Julieta Prandi, was sentenced in August of this year to 19 years in prison. He is currently confined in Unit No. 41 of the Campanaa Penitentiary, awaiting a potential decision by the justice system to grant him house arrest, which was rejected last week.

Dressed in shorts, a green t-shirt, and a beige hoodie, Contardi is in the prison's yard with a cell phone, but there is not much to do.

It has been reported that the convict, found guilty of aggravated sexual assault in a context of gender-based violence, currently shares a pavilion with Father Grassi, and they reportedly have a "good relationship".

Last week, the justice system rejected the house arrest requested by his defender, Fernando Sicilia, for various reasons, including the risk of flight and obstruction of justice, due to the seriousness of the crime committed, and because the proposed residence was deemed inappropriate.

In this regard, Contardi had proposed that the house arrest be served at his home in the 'Septiembre' gated community, but authorities stated that being there with his family "could constitute a possible environment of risk in the cohabitation dynamics, capable of reinstating previous dynamics of power, control, or violence".
