Former Argentine President Alberto Fernández Returns to Public Eye

Former Argentine President Alberto Fernández made a public appearance on the streaming channel Blender in the program "Hay Algo Ahí," openly referring to the period of media ostracism he experienced after leaving the presidency, describing it as a process of "cancellation."

Fernández admitted that the treatment he received led to a self-imposed isolation, something he never expected. "Objectively, it cost me media mistreatment that I honestly believe I didn't deserve, a media cancellation process that I never thought could be so severe, and that even convinced me that it was better not to come out," declared the former head of state.

The former president recounted that little by little, he was recovering "his air" and "his strength" to return to public debate, motivated by concern over the current situation in Argentina.

Meanwhile, Fernández explained that he hesitated to accept the invitation to the streaming platform, a format he felt was "weird" for him, wondering if "I fit in there, do I have a place there, I don't know."

Fernández's reappearance on a non-traditional media outlet marks an attempt to reclaim his political voice outside conventional channels, after months away from the public eye.

Regarding the accusations against him, the former head of state revealed that he handed over his phone and the password to the judge in charge of the case but denounced obstacles to advancing the investigation. "The chats have been manipulated because the judge [Julián] Arcolini did not want to open them. I handed over my phone. I had to ask, please, to have it forensically examined."

"They opened it and those chats don't exist," asserted Fernández. The former president harshly criticized the judge in charge of the case, Julián Arcolini, calling him "a judge who should be ashamed to remain a judge," and accused him of bias by comparing his actions to his conduct in the Vialidad case against Cristina Kirchner.

Regarding his former partner, Fernández was cautious but suggested she was manipulated to initiate the case, linking the situation to her own gender policies. "I believe she was manipulated, clearly she was manipulated... The truth is that I am careful when talking with Fabiola because she has problems that I don't want to bring to public light. Tell the key to open them. But the truth is that what I want is for her to explain it, for her to clarify it, simply for everything to be clarified," stated the former president.

Finally, Alberto warned that all the evidence and the denial of the existence of the chats are documented in the judicial case.
