Former Argentina President Fernández Denies Scandal Rumors

Former President Alberto Fernández stated that they attributed links to women he does not know. In the context of denouncing operations, Fernández lamented how easily false versions are spread and used his own experience to defend other public figures who, in his opinion, have been victims of unjust media ridicule. "There are two people that it has pained me a lot how they were treated. Tamara Pettinato and Florencia Peña, unfairly mistreated," Fernández concluded, adding his denial to his line of denouncing operations that, in his view, sought to damage his image and that of his government. On the "Hay Algo Ahí" program on the streaming channel Blender, host Tomás Rebord confronted the former head of state with one of the most virulent rumors that circulated during his tenure. The rumor was about the alleged existence of an intimate video filmed in an elevator of the Casa Rosada. Fernández's response was immediate and categorical, denying the version in no uncertain terms: "Where is it? It doesn't exist, brother." The former president not only denied the existence of the recording but also defended himself against the accusations that fell on his personal life as a result of these versions: "The elevator... that doesn't exist, because such a thing never happened."
