Entre Ríos province joins the Federal Early Childhood Program

Entre Ríos province became the first in Argentina to join the Federal Early Childhood Program (PFPI). The initiative, driven by the Ministry of Human Capital, aims to support families and child development centers in the most vulnerable departments. Governor Rogelio Frigerio and Minister Verónica Berisso emphasized that this will strengthen childhood policies throughout the province, investing in the future of children.

«When there is teamwork and decision-making, policies are transformed into concrete results for people». This program, driven by the Ministry of Human Capital of the Nation, aims to strengthen families and Child Development Centers (CDI), prioritizing departments with the highest levels of social vulnerability. «From day one, we assumed the commitment to put childhood at the center of the public agenda,» said Governor Rogelio Frigerio, referring to the province's incorporation into the Federal Early Childhood Program (PFPI). The leader also stated that these agreements strengthen childhood and family policies throughout the provincial territory. «We continue to manage with the Nation to improve the quality of life of the people of Entre Ríos,» he assured. Frigerio thanked the Minister of Human Capital of the Nation, Sandra Pettovello, «for her commitment and support for Entre Ríos». «That is why we celebrate the incorporation into this program that will adapt to the work we are developing in the territory,» expressed the Minister of Human Development, Verónica Berisso. Meanwhile, the president of Copnaf, Clarisa Sack, highlighted: «This articulation with the Federal Program adds to the sustained work we are doing in the territory to support the families of Entre Ríos. Entre Ríos is the first province to join the Federal Early Childhood Program, a national policy that strengthens Child Development Centers and promotes family support to guarantee equal opportunities from the first years of life». «We are convinced that the way to consolidate public policies thinking about the future of our children is by developing planning strategies. The actions include training, family support to promote positive parenting practices and healthy emotional bonds. In Entre Ríos, adherence to the initiative adds to the sustained work of the Ministry of Human Development and the Provincial Council for Children, Adolescents and the Family (Copnaf) in terms of early support. Every step we take in early childhood is an investment in the present and future of our province,» he/she emphasized.
