In the locality of Acheral, personnel from the local police station were patrolling Route 307 when they noticed offenders circulating on a low-displacement motorcycle with numerous violations of the National Traffic Law. This prompted the agents to proceed with a routine check. However, as they approached the suspects, they abandoned the vehicle and attempted to escape on foot. During the pursuit, the men were caught and detained. It was noticed that when they tried to flee, one of them attempted to dispose of a bag, which he threw into the bushes. Upon checking what had been thrown away moments before, they discovered it was cocaine. The vehicle and the drugs were seized by order of UFINAR, while the offenders, one of whom was transporting the substance, were apprehended.
