Between 00:00 and 6:00 AM on this Saturday, the Zone I Headquarters, belonging to the Western Regional Unit, conducted a major preventive operation in El Mollar, Tafí del Valle, and surrounding areas. As part of this operation, a team of police officers stationed on National Route 307 intercepted a pickup truck driven by a man with a passenger. During the vehicle inspection, they found a plastic bag containing a narcotic substance. Consequently, the police proceeded to arrest the individual and seized the substance, cash, and two mobile phones. The Fiscal Unit for Drug Trafficking approved this procedure, and the vehicle was also seized. As for the offenders, since they had no pending legal cases, they were released.
