Today, the Vice Minister of Health, Cecilia Loccisano, submitted her resignation. This comes amid changes in the cabinet of President Javier Milei.

"Today I submitted my resignation to Minister of Health Mario Lugones from the position of Secretary of Administrative Management and Vice Minister of Health of the Nation," the official wrote on her social media account.

Loccisano reported to Lugones, a man who joined Milei's team at the recommendation of advisor Santiago Caputo.

"For many years, I had the honor of being part of this Ministry, contributing my experience and knowledge to the service of the health of Argentines. This journey allowed me to accompany great transformations and challenges that strengthened my commitment to an efficient, responsible management focused on those who need it most," Loccisano continued in her farewell message.

To conclude, she thanked the national leader and Lugones himself: "From wherever I am, I will continue to accompany and work to contribute to the development of a modern, less bureaucratic health system that is closer to the real needs of people."
