The Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, announced today that Alejandro Lew will join the economic team as the new Secretary of Finance, replacing Pablo Quirno.
Lew will replace Pablo Quirno, who left his position in recent weeks and was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship.
"New Secretary of Finance: Alejandro Lew returns to the economic team, now as Secretary of Finance," Caputo stated in a post on social media X.
He added, "Alejandro already accompanied us at the beginning of the administration as Director and Vice President II of the Central Bank. Welcome to the team, Ale!!"
Previously, he served as CFO of YPF and other energy companies, and had an extensive career in international banks.
