The Minister of Government of the Province of Buenos Aires, Carlos Bianco, was sarcastic about Diego Santilli's new position, who was appointed the day before as the new Minister of the Interior: “Surely he will now be talking to (Luis) ‘Toto’ Caputo to get back the money that (Javier) Milei stole from us,” he stated. Milei's bank destroyed the dream of owning a home due to the rise in UVA mortgage loan rates. In radio statements, he referred to the debt that, according to the administration of Governor Axel Kicillof, the National Government maintains with the province and, according to calculations presented at several press conferences, amounts to a total of 12.1 trillion pesos. “(Santilli) has the responsibility to work to solve the provinces' problems. Surely, at this moment, he is managing to get the money back by talking to (Luis) ‘Toto’ Caputo about the money that (Javier) Milei stole from us,” the provincial official joked. In the same vein, Bianco declared that although he held “several public meetings” at the Casa Rosada, “they did not offer any solution” to the problems he presented: “It's the same old story, they say they will receive him but that they have to elevate it and the response never arrives,” he added on Futurock. He also predicted that during his first term as a Ministry official, “he will show proactivity and a certain openness,” but that when they meet, he will not offer them any solution either. Meanwhile, over the weekend, Santilli ruled out a possible dialogue with Kicillof: on the one hand, he wrote an open letter to the President with the aim of dialogue, but on the other, he is “managing against” the plan being carried out by the National Government. Regardless of his status as a bonaerense citizen and having been a candidate for the opposition party, he must be aware that his government stole 12,000 trillion pesos from us.
Bianco's Sarcasm Towards New Minister Santilli
Buenos Aires government minister Carlos Bianco commented sarcastically on Diego Santilli's appointment, hinting at the need to return money that, he claims, was 'stolen' from the province by Javier Milei.
