Buenos Aires Governor Criticizes Milei for Exclusion from Governors' Meeting

The Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, sent an extensive and critical letter to President Javier Milei this Saturday, expressing his discontent at not being summoned to the governors' meeting at the Casa Rosada, an event centered on the signatories of the May Pact. The provincial head described the President's decision as an 'anti-democratic gesture' and 'contrary to the federal spirit'.

In the letter, Kicillof emphasized the representativeness of the unsummoned provinces, stating that 'the provinces you decided not to summon represent more than 40% of Argentina's population. That reality should invite you to have more humility and less triumphalism.'

The focus of Kicillof's criticism was centered on the selectivity of the dialogue proposed by the National Government, indicating that 'if you really want to open a dialogue with those who think differently and prioritize the interests of all Argentines, I tell you with total clarity: it is not a good sign to exclude the governors you consider 'enemies'.
