Manuel Adorni has been appointed as the new Chief of Cabinet, replacing Guillermo Francos. This promotion to the most influential position in the Cabinet highlights his rapid rise in politics.
Adorni represents a distinctive case by coming directly from the role of Presidential Spokesperson, a position focused on daily communication with the press, which highlights the importance of his background as a journalist and analyst.
As a spokesperson, he was forced to face daily communication battles, which allowed him to become central to the Milei movement. This growth was so rapid that he even bypassed the Legislature, as he will not assume the seat he won as the first candidate for a legislator in Buenos Aires for La Libertad Avanza.
Since December 2023, Adorni has dedicated himself full-time to public service. Before assuming a government role, he was known for his work in various media outlets, including Radio Rivadavia, A24, and as a columnist for Infobae and Noticias Argentinas. He also worked as a journalist for web portals and cable channels.
Adorni himself thanked the President and Karina Milei for their trust and stated that the priority of this new stage will be to "deepen the structural reforms".
