The governor of Jujuy, Carlos Sadir, detailed the impression the meeting left on him, stating that 'the President was very receptive and presented his point of view on these agreements.' He also considered that 'Argentina needs an understanding between the Government and the provinces.' The President stated that 'if one goes with a major reform to change everything, it will probably be difficult, but if some aspects are taken one by one, they can be incorporated.' The governors raised issues, many of which are well-known, such as public works, infrastructure, and authorizations for unfinished projects. Governor of Jujuy, Carlos Sadir, confirmed that during the meeting with Javier Milei, the provinces presented the need for works, and the President requested support for the legislative reforms he will promote in Congress. On this matter, he clarified that 'the small print of the laws must be seen,' but he said it was a 'very good' meeting at the Casa Rosada. 'For those of us who so seek investment in Argentina, the best thing is to see that there is a good relationship between the Nation and the provinces, and that there is also the intention to advance on issues for the country's development,' Sadir highlighted. He also indicated that both the President and all the governors agreed that it is 'necessary' to have the 2026 Budget. 'The meeting with the president was very good. Milei was able to present us with his needs and the idea of the projects he has to send to Congress, in addition to a very interesting exchange between the governors and him and his ministers,' Sadir expressed. In statements to the 'Esta maƱana' program, conducted by Ignacio Ortelli on Radio Rivadavia, he stated that 'there is an idea of working in support of the Government.' Argentina is large, and there are differences between regions that may allow for some flexibility to work on agreements more regionally,' he stated regarding labor reform. In this regard, he considered that a good 'alternative' could be 'for the changes proposed to be forward-looking and not regarding those that are already formalized.' Many provinces raise the issue of pension funds, the ordering of loan guarantees, the issue of biofuels, and concern over the closure of SMEs,' expressed the Jujuy governor.
