Argentina has published the official calendar of public holidays for 2025. It includes national and municipal holidays. July 9th is Independence Day. August 15th will be a non-working day with tourist purposes. August 17th is the anniversary of General Manuel Belgrano's passing. Since November 20th falls on a Thursday, the government has moved this holiday to Monday, November 24th, and declared Friday, November 21st, a non-working day for tourism. The calendar also includes: January 1st - New Year's Day, March 3rd and 4th - Carnival, March 24th - National Day for Truth and Justice, April 2nd - Veteran's Day and the Fallen in the Malvinas War, April 18th and 19th - Holy Week, May 1st - Labor Day, May 25th - May Revolution Day, June 16th - Anniversary of General José de San Martín's passing, October 10th - Respect for Cultural Diversity Day, December 8th - Immaculate Conception of Mary, December 25th - Christmas. Additionally, in the district of Benito Juárez, October 31st will mark its anniversary, serving as a municipal holiday for public employees and bank workers. The next long national weekend will be for National Sovereignty Day.
