The governor of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, described this Thursday's meeting as a 'work meeting' with his provincial peers and President Javier Milei, and assured that there is 'another attitude' between the Casa Rosada (the presidential office) and the provinces regarding the structural reforms that the Government seeks to promote. 'It was a work meeting, we were close to two and a half hours dialoguing with the President and his entire Cabinet about the most important issues facing Argentina for the future,' stated Frigerio at the end of the meeting, in statements to the LN+ channel. The Entre Ríos governor explained that the agenda included 'the structural reforms' that Argentina has been 'kicking down for the last 30 years.' 'I think we are closer than ever to carrying them out, beyond the necessary discussion of the Budget that the country also needs,' he clarified. When asked about the difference with the previous meeting between the Government and the provincial leaders, the governor stated that 'now there is another attitude.' 'There is an awareness on the part of the Government and the provinces, which showed themselves willing to collaborate, that we have to work together because we are facing a historic opportunity,' he said. The Entre Ríos governor added that 'the public has understood that this is the path and there is no turning back' and confirmed that the Government will call extraordinary sessions of Congress in December to debate the reforms promoted by the Executive.
