The government of Argentina has published the official calendar of public holidays for 2025. It has cancelled the 'bridge' holidays for tourism purposes, replacing many with 'non-working days'. In this context, many workers are wondering what will happen with the holiday for National Sovereignty Day.
The next national holiday will be for National Sovereignty Day. Since November 20th falls on a Thursday, the government decided to move it to Monday, November 24th, which will be a public holiday, and make Friday, November 21st, a non-working day for tourism. This way, a three-day long weekend is confirmed for everyone (from Saturday the 22nd to Monday the 24th), while some, depending on their activity, will also be able to enjoy the Friday off.
