The libertarian activist and streamer, Daniel "Gordo Dan" Parisini, kept his promise this Monday after the election results, shaving his head live during his show on Carajo Stream. The event took place on the same show where the PRO leader, Diego Santilli, also kept his promise and shaved his head. According to Noticias Argentinas, after the broadcast ended, "Gordo Dan" launched a phrase full of irony, referring to the scandal that shook La Libertad Avanza in the pre-election period: "I felt like being friends with Fred Machado." The comment is a direct jab at businessman Fred Machado, who was detained in Viedma and is wanted by the US Justice Department for alleged money laundering and drug trafficking. The scandal over Machado's ties with José Luis Espert, due to alleged irregular campaign financing, is what forced the latter to resign from his candidacy for deputy.
