During a series of inspections on national routes N°34 and N°9, the border police arrested several fugitives wanted for theft and other crimes.

During an inspection of a long-distance bus, officers from the Border Post 7 de Abril, located on national route No. 34, detained a 25-year-old young man who was traveling as a passenger and had an arrest warrant for robbery issued by the National Judiciary. After verifying it in the SIFCOP, they found that he was wanted for a qualified robbery case by the Trial Court Chamber I of the Orán Judicial District.

At the same post, an hour later, they notified a driver of a van about a prohibition on leaving the country and restrictive measures against him issued by the Guarantee Court of the IV Nomination of Salta. This individual faced accusations of assault, threats, and sexual abuse.

In another incident, at the Cabo Ramón Valentín Jiménez Detachment, the driver of a van was informed about the prohibition of leaving the province and the country imposed by the Judiciary of the province of Santa Fe. The supervision of the procedures was in charge of the Director General of Special Units, Chief Commissioner Fabio Ferreyra, and the Deputy Director, Chief Commissioner Daniel Robles.

During the inspection carried out at the Cabo Vallejo Border Post on national route No. 9 early Wednesday morning, officers captured a 40-year-old motorist from Orán, province of Salta.

Citing Chief Commissioner Fabio Ferreyra: "Police controls at strategic points like these are essential to locate individuals wanted by the justice system who attempt to evade capture. We will continue working together with our judges to guarantee the safety of all citizens."
