Brutal Femicide in Tucumán: Husband Confesses Victim

In the province of Tucumán, a brutal femicide occurred, where a man killed his wife and tried to make it look like a suicide, but his plan failed when he confessed and was arrested.

The incident took place in broad daylight in the Los Nogales area, where Julia Elena Espinoza, 42 years old, argued with her husband Pablo Guillermo Mamani. The argument turned aggressive at the door of a school, at which point the aggressor used the elastic of his pants to strangle his wife.

After committing the murder, he tried to simulate a suicide by tying Espinoza to the bars of the school and fleeing the scene. Neighbors alerted the Police about what happened and found the aggressor at his home in a nervous state, although he initially tried to deny the facts saying it was a suicide, he eventually confessed.

According to Mamani's account, both had consumed alcohol and the argument erupted due to his suspicions of infidelity on Espinoza's part. In light of this situation, prosecutor Carlos Sale ordered the arrest of the aggressor, classifying the case as double aggravated murder due to the relationship and gender violence.

If found guilty, the accused could face a possible life imprisonment sentence.
