The Senate Agreements Commission is discussing the future of Manuel García-Mansilla, a lawyer who was sworn in at the Supreme Court after being appointed by President Javier Milei through a decree. At the beginning of the session, the commission confirmed PRO Senator Guadalupe Tagliaferri as the chairperson of that parliamentary body.
García-Mansilla's nomination has received two negative opinions, as Tagliaferri informed the Argentina News Agency. Although there is another opinion supporting his nomination, pushed by the ruling party, it has not yet been presented.
