Diego Sucalesca, who previously worked as a journalist, actor, and comedian, has experienced a significant rise in his career by taking on a prominent role in the Government. Sucalesca, who used to share the stage with Javier Milei in the play "The Milei Consulting Room," recently participated in the PDAC mining fair in Canada alongside Karina Milei.
During the event, both presented investment opportunities in Argentina, generating great interest among the international capital present. This participation is just a glimpse of how Sucalesca has transitioned from television to Government, having left behind his show "Para alquilar balcones" on Canal de la Ciudad to join the ruling party.
Despite maintaining a close relationship with the President, Sucalesca has stood out for differentiating himself on certain key issues within the Government. For instance, he expressed criticism regarding the closure of the Télam agency and the sanction of the mega DNU. On one occasion, before the second electoral round in November 2023, he shared an emphatic message highlighting the importance of living in democracy despite existing flaws in the political system.
Sucalesca's role has notably evolved, transitioning from playing an economist in a theatrical performance to holding a significant position in the Government. His participation in international events like the PDAC demonstrates his influence and commitment to attracting foreign investments to Argentina, representing a new chapter in his professional career.
