Radical deputy Facundo Manes revealed details of a scandal that occurred in Congress after the Legislative Assembly, where he was threatened by presidential advisor Santiago Caputo and confirmed that he was hit with 'two short punches.' Previously, Manes described Caputo as 'the most powerful man in Argentina, who controls the SIDE, the AFIP, and the trolls.' He also indicated that he would file a complaint against the official.
During the incident in the hallways of Congress after President Javier Milei's speech, Manes said that Caputo was accompanied by 'a troll' and that it was the person who hit him. Despite feeling the advisor's violence, Manes stated: 'I grew up in Salto, I won’t be scared by a hand in the face.'
Manes clarified that it was not Caputo who hit him, but someone named Fran Fijap. Despite this, he downplayed that aspect of the incident, stating: 'I clarified at the time that it was not Caputo who hit me. A person came, pushed me, and hit me two short punches.'
