Milei Criticizes Manes' Claims

President Javier Milei expressed his surprise at the significance being given to an incident as insignificant as the one that occurred with Facundo Manes, whom he accused of blatantly lying. Milei stated that Manes exaggerated by saying he received two punches, when in reality, there were just two taps on the chest. In an interview on LN+, the political leader criticized certain journalists, whom he rated as having a low IQ for not understanding his actions.

"The speech is so grand, so grand what we went to do (at the Legislative Assembly). This was fueled by a journalist from Clarín, we know that Clarín has it out for me," Milei added in his statement. The controversy erupted after Facundo Manes publicly claimed to have been assaulted, which triggered a strong exchange between the two political leaders.

Amid the controversy, Milei maintained that Manes exaggerated the situation to gain notoriety, while he had attended the Legislative Assembly with a much more important purpose. The statements from the President of the Republic on LN+ sparked an intense debate in the media and on social networks, with various opinions about the attitude of politicians in such situations.
