Facundo Manes Criticizes Government's Strategy

Legislator Facundo Manes criticized the government's methodology used to intimidate the opposition and divert from institutional duty during a session in Congress. In an extensive statement, Manes emphasized the importance of defending the Constitution, equality before the law, and the rule of law. He also warned about the alleged anti-republican pulse in which the government, led by Milei and Caputo, would be embarked.

In his statement, Manes urgently requested the Senate to review the decrees appointing Manuel García-Mansilla and Ariel Lijo to the Supreme Court. He also urged to open a serious debate on the country's economic crisis, highlighting the need to address fundamental issues like poverty and insecurity.

The deputy denounced that the aggression suffered during the altercation with Santiago Caputo was not an isolated incident, but part of a strategy to intimidate the opposition. In this context, Manes raised the urgency of rebuilding a productive economy that allows Argentina to insert itself effectively into the new world.

Manes concluded his message with a direct warning to the ruling party, urging that Milei's provocations remain mere memes and do not become a reality. The legislator referred to the Twitter account @MileiEmperador, attributed to Santiago Caputo, who often spreads messages aligned with the government's strategy. In light of these events, Manes reiterated that he is not the first opposition member to have been subject to intimidation by the ruling party.
