Tension in the Argentine Congress: Criticism of Violence

The Union for the Homeland deputy, Eduardo Toniolli, criticized the actions of the libertarian activists in the Legislative Assembly, following a tense exchange between presidential advisor, Santiago Caputo, and radical Facundo Manes. Toniolli described the activism as a sect that attacks those whom their leader, Santiago Caputo, points out, either physically, verbally, or virtually.

During the confrontation, the President of the Nation took three minutes of his speech to respond to Manes with jokes and nervous movements, which, according to Toniolli, incited the sect's members to continue insulting the radical. Fortunately, other deputies and media present helped prevent any physical acts.

Toniolli warned that if the violence persists, the response will be greater and called for judicial intervention. He classified Caputo's actions as a threat and stated that Justice must act. This episode highlights a tense and aggressive atmosphere that worries several sectors within the political sphere.

In summary, Toniolli concluded that it is necessary to stop such aggressive behaviors, as they reflect a dangerous precedent that can lead to even more serious situations.
