Wanda Nara requested the removal of the child defender, Marcelo Jalil, from the case against Mauro Icardi, following a new setback indicating that she must hand over her daughters to their father. Ángle de Brito, on the LAM program, shared the news and read a fragment of the document presented by Wanda: "Here is the request for the removal of the child defender, Doctor Jalil, Marcelo, requested by Wanda Solange Nara on behalf of my children and names all five, represented by Nicolás Payarola."
The document accuses the child defender of failing to intervene to protect the interests of the girls, not advocating for them to access therapy, nor considering their wishes. It also does not mention the involvement of a specialized technical team or the conduct of necessary psychological evaluations for the process.
Nara's defense claims that Jalil displays subjectivity, bias, and damages Wanda's good name. According to the journalist, Wanda and her lawyer accuse the child defender of having a partial and harmful attitude toward the media figure.
The latest court order requires Wanda to immediately hand over her daughters to their father, Mauro Icardi, who is currently in Turkey with his partner, Eugenia "La China" Suárez.
