Cristina Kirchner Leads First PJ Meeting of the Year

Former President Cristina Kirchner led the first meeting of the year for the Justicialist Party, which took place at the party headquarters on Matheu Street in the capital. Present at the meeting were the five vice presidents and the 75 advisors of the PJ, as well as other prominent party members, including José Mayans, Germán Martínez, Lucía Corpacci, Mariel Fernández, and Ricardo Pignanelli.

In a statement disseminated through a tweet, the Justicialist Party announced the meeting in commemoration of the 79th anniversary of General Perón's victory in the 1946 presidential elections. During the meeting, the creation of various commissions was confirmed, and the formation of a Political Table of Union for the Homeland was established, composed of the PJ and allied parties.

Additionally, it was decided to create the "Argentine Model Institute, Thought and Action for the Homeland" as a key space for the pragmatic direction of the party. Several secretariats were asked to present a detailed report on the $LIBRA scandal. The meeting, previously convened the week before, coincided with the anniversary of Juan Domingo Perón's electoral victory on February 24.

José Mayans informed before the meeting that the Peronist senators will not participate in the Legislative Assembly on March 1, arguing that President Javier Milei treats them improperly and makes false claims.
