Kicillof's New Political Force Sparks Concern Among Peronists

The launch of the new political force led by Buenos Aires Governor Axel Kicillof has caused confusion at the Patria Institute, close to former President Cristina Kirchner, arguing that this initiative will only create more division within Peronism. They believe it does not add mayors who are not part of Unión por la Patria, excluding massismo, Grabois, and other organizations without representation in this space.

In this regard, from CFK's environment, they expressed that this political strategy "atomizes" parliamentary dialogue in the province of Buenos Aires and emphasized that such a premature launch will only serve to divert attention towards candidacies and internal discussions three years before the presidential election. They also noted that the space promoted by Kicillof does not bring anything new regarding the political actors already present in Unión por la Patria.

"It only adds a small group of legislators from the province, which is a minority and could lead to the fragmentation of the blocs," warned the Patria Institute. Amid this scenario, it is believed that this political move could benefit figures like Milei, who would be paying the consequences of his own mistakes by prematurely attracting attention.
