It has been revealed that chats between Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi were leaked, showing that the calls between the two daughters they share and their father were cut off. According to Elba Marcovecchio, Mauro's lawyer, the girls are not with their father due to Wanda's will for this to be the case, despite the court order stating they should return to him. Marcovecchio mentioned in an interview on DDM that Wanda seems to be acting out of rivalry with China Suárez and has turned the girls into hostages in that dispute.

Marcovecchio criticized Wanda for disobeying the court order and accused her of acting like "a lawless woman."
The lawyer also mentioned that the recusal of the judge in the case was due to Wanda not liking the ruling, indicating that she does not respect the decisions of the Argentine Justice. On the other hand, she highlighted that Mauro is focused on his rehabilitation and on getting his daughters back, which is his main concern at the moment, despite the obstacles that, according to Marcovecchio, Wanda has put in his way.
