During a routine check at Laguna de Robles, the Tucumán Police seized a series of motorcycle parts that were being investigated for a theft case in the province of Buenos Aires. Among the items confiscated were two engines, two frames, two seats, four complete wheels, headlights, sets of panels, and handlebars, among others.
The procedure was carried out as part of Operation Lapacho, conducted by the Border Detachment personnel on provincial route 304. During the inspection of a cargo truck coming from Buenos Aires and headed to Salta, the presence of the mentioned parts was discovered.
After verifying the engine and frame numbers of the parts, it was confirmed that they matched motorcycles that had been reported to the National Prosecutor’s Office in Criminal and Correctional matters number 57 of CABA. Given this situation, the Prosecutor's Office for Thefts and Burglary in Tucumán was informed, which ordered the seizure of the parts and the communication of the finding to the relevant judicial authority.
During the inspection of the cargo, several bundles containing the motorcycle parts in question were identified. In response, the intervention of the competent judicial body was requested, which ordered a detailed inspection of the found items.
