The writer Enrique Guillermo Avogadro expressed his opinion regarding the political situation in Argentina, pointing out similarities between the current president and the former president. Avogadro highlighted the existence of a ruling caste that fosters hatred and division in society, eliminating those with divergent opinions. He quoted Ryszard Kapuściński to emphasize the seriousness of the situation.
Regarding Javier Milei's management, his stance towards Justice was mentioned, as well as his attempts to control it through the "democratization" of the Judicial Power. Emphasis was placed on the incorporation of Judge Ariel Lijo to the Supreme Court, proposed by Milei to form an alliance with Ricardo Lorenzetti and limit the actions of other judges in determining the constitutionality of laws and decrees.
The case of Luis Petri, Minister of Defense, was also mentioned, who allegedly withdrew military benefits from several people, including heroes of the Malvinas, using false arguments. Avogadro stated that these cases will not have judicial solutions and that only the President can put an end to them, defending the importance of preserving republican institutions.
Internal conflicts within the government were alluded to, such as the dismissal of officials related to criticisms of their relatives. Additionally, government actions on issues like political prisoners and corruption were highlighted, pointing out similarities in the current management with that of Kirchnerism.
