In comparison, former president Donald Trump has achieved fifth place with a 52% acceptance level. However, the highest-rated leader according to the survey is Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India, who has a 56% support. It is interesting to note that most of the top-rated leaders have been in office for less than two years.
Regarding details, Modi has been prime minister of India for 11 years and has been re-elected for a third consecutive term in 2024. On the other hand, the sixth position in the ranking is held by Australia's prime minister, Anthony Albanese, followed by Georgia Meloni of Italy in seventh place.
The opinions collected in the survey conducted by Morning Consult between January 21 and January 27 of this year come from citizens of 24 countries. The methodology used included a seven-day rolling average in each surveyed nation. Finally, the tenth place is occupied by Ulf Kristersson of Sweden.
