Tucumán Advances on Key Infrastructure Projects

The National Government has fulfilled all commitments made with Tucumán, assured the provincial governor. Progress has been made on various agreements and contracts, including transfers for important works and key projects, such as the improvement in the provision of drinking water and electricity.

"All the works are underway and the Nation is complying with the agreed financings. We, from the province, are also doing our part to ensure that these projects benefit the people of Tucumán," said the governor.

The provincial Minister of Economy detailed that the Nation is fulfilling its commitments on time, highlighting that an important debt has been settled since January. Among the works underway is the renovation of the Benjamín Matienzo Airport, whose bidding will open on April 1, which is vital to boost tourism and production in the region.

Additionally, progress was mentioned on the Las Talitas detention center, works of the National Gendarmerie, and the bidding for the Vipos Aqueduct scheduled for April 10. The good disposition of both parties to work together was emphasized, and the financing from the Nation for these essential works in the province was specified.

The double circuit of El Bracho-Villa Quinteros, a 132 kV medium voltage line, has been reactivated to supply energy to the south of the province. In a press conference, the governor provided details about his trip to Buenos Aires, where he met with national authorities to coordinate the progress of the committed works.

Road infrastructures such as Route 307 and Route 323, including a bridge, are fully underway with shared financing between the Nation and the Province. Minor but crucial works for local development are also being carried out in the province.
