The governor of Tucumán, Osvaldo Jaldo, has declared that it is a priority to stop land usurpations in the province and guarantee respect for private property and public lands. In the context of an investigation into illegal occupation and sale of land in El Mollar, Jaldo has emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of the province's heritage and has pointed out that the judiciary has supported the provincial government's position on this issue.
Jaldo has expressed the willingness to collaborate with the judiciary to put an end to illegal land occupations, citing the case of El Mollar as emblematic. Furthermore, he has stated the determination to act in all places where this type of situation arises, with the objective of protecting the heritage of the people of Tucumán.
Regarding the progress of the investigation, the State Attorney, Gilda Pedicone, has reported on legal actions taken to prevent the alteration of protected areas, such as the Perilago zone, which has been subject to occupations detected by the province. Additionally, she referred to the "Castro" lot, where the judiciary has ordered restitution and eviction, as well as to situations from previous years in which citizens deceived or complicit in these illegal actions have been affected.
