The presidential spokesman, Manuel Adorni, informed that the historic presidential photographer, Víctor Bugge, will leave his position after 47 years of work. Adorni revealed that the National Government is preparing a tribute to highlight Bugge's work. During a press conference, he clarified that the photographer's departure is due to a personal decision and denied any conflicting scenario.

In a show of good rapport, Adorni met with Bugge in his office before making the public announcement. The official emphasized that Bugge's departure is occurring under optimal conditions and that the photographer is retiring happily due to the treatment he received. He assured that a celebration will be held in honor of his extensive career. Adorni urged to avoid irrelevant comments that do not reflect the true situation.

Víctor Bugge, a recognized Argentine photographer, began his career at the Atlántida publishing house and started working at the Government House in 1978. Over the years, he captured various leaders, from dictators like Jorge Videla to contemporary figures like Milei. During Alberto Fernández's administration, Bugge was removed from his position and went on to work in the photography archive.

In an interview with Infobae, Bugge expressed his dissatisfaction with the government management during that period, calling it the worst he has experienced. Additionally, he revealed that he faced prostate cancer due to the stress he experienced, which led him to undergo surgery to remove the tumor. Although no date has been set, a tribute is promised at the Casa Rosada to highlight Bugge's career, who is retiring after nearly five decades of service.
