The Argentine Federation of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, and Trans (FALGBT) filed a criminal complaint against President Javier Milei for incitement to hatred, threats, and public intimidation before the Federal Court in Criminal and Correctional Matters No. 3. The FALGBT indicated that the president's statements attack democratic principles and fundamental rights, reinforcing structural inequalities and perpetuating violence.
Various organizations, such as ATE Capital, former deputy Miriam Bregman, the Observatory of Gender-Based Violence of Rosario, among others, also joined the complaints. They accuse Milei of threatening constitutional rights, discriminating against movements for sexual identity freedom, and abandoning the defense of sovereignty over the Malvinas Islands, among other points.
The Observatory of Gender-Based Violence of Rosario, led by councilor Norma López, also filed a complaint for incitement to hatred, collective violence, threats, abuse of power, and public intimidation against Milei. They emphasized that his statements promote hatred towards women and diverse groups, delegitimizing advancements in human rights achieved in recent years.
President Milei is also facing accusations from Hugo "Cachorro" Godoy, Claudio Lozano, Gregorio Dalbón, and the Committee for the Defense of Ethics, Health, and Human Rights (CODESEDH). They have lodged complaints for apology of crime, public intimidation, and other offenses.
Media lawyer Gregorio Dalbón filed a complaint against Milei for threats, public intimidation, and apology of crime due to statements made by the president on social media. This new request for political impeachment and the accumulated criminal complaints continue to generate controversy surrounding the president's statements.
