Arrest of Foreign Criminals in Mataderos

Two foreign criminals, one from Peru and the other from Chile, were arrested by the police in Mataderos while attempting to rob a house. After a chase, they were caught with a stolen vehicle and illegal items.


Arrest of Foreign Criminals in Mataderos

Two foreign criminals, one of Peruvian nationality and the other Chilean, were captured by the City Police while attempting to enter a house in the Mataderos neighborhood with the intention of committing a robbery. The operation was launched when the criminals, aboard a stolen vehicle, were discovered trying to enter a house at the intersection of Tapalqué and Cafayate streets.

During the chase that ensued, the suspects tried to escape in a gray Honda Civic, but were eventually apprehended by authorities at the intersection of Oliden and Monte streets, as they attempted to flee on foot. The arrested individuals turned out to be a 21-year-old Peruvian citizen and an 18-year-old Chilean.

In addition to the capture of the criminals, the seizure of a .22 caliber revolver, pliers, and a cordless grinder was achieved. On the other hand, it was discovered that the car the thieves were using had a false license plate and was wanted by the 4th Police Station of Lomas de Zamora for being involved in a previous robbery.
