Carlos Peralta Calls for Global Peace Initiative

Carlos Peralta, president of the World Organization for Peace (OMPP), reaffirmed the importance of dialogue as the only way to achieve beneficial agreements at a global level. The OMPP, based in Madrid and with representation in 178 countries, has a regional and global focus, involving directors in various relevant fields. For 35 years, Peralta has led this organization recognized by the UN as an entity contributing to international efforts.

During an event, Peralta presented a peace proposal for the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, urging a swift agreement among the presidents of the United States, Russia, Ukraine, and NATO. He pointed out the urgency of this proposal due to the irrecoverable death toll on both sides. The OMPP leader emphasized the need for a clamor for peace and mutual respect among peoples in the current landscape.

At an event with U.S. President Donald Trump, Peralta advocated for a socio-environmental contingency fund to promote sustainable development and address vulnerabilities. The OMPP has achieved the signatures of 192 UN heads of state on a message of peace, highlighting the organization's efforts in this area. Moreover, it has worked on initiatives to strengthen the quality of life and equality of rights in Argentina and globally.

Peralta called on world leaders such as Trump, Putin, Zelensky, and the NATO Secretary General to join in an effort for a ceasefire. The OMPP has global directors in various fields such as reconstruction, renewable energies, government relations, and environmental sanitation. Additionally, it is implementing indigenous repair programs in Argentina in accordance with the call for dialogue between Trump and Putin to establish peace.

The OMPP president recalled the devastating lessons of past wars and warned of the need to avoid large-scale conflicts, especially with the presence of weapons of mass destruction in the hands of major powers. The organization, internationally known as the World Organization for Peace, has been crucial in promoting peace globally, advocating for a world in harmony.
