Six children, including two babies, and their mother have been hospitalized after testing positive for cocaine. This is part of an investigation into gender-based violence in the Buenos Aires town of Balcarce, while the father has been arrested. According to journalist AgustÃn Gigena, who reported to the Argentine News Agency, the victim filed a complaint at the women's police station, stating that her ex-partner drugged her until she became ill. In this context, she was taken to a local hospital, where laboratory tests were performed, which came back positive for cocaine in her blood. The victim then warned that her children 'could be in the same situation.' Health staff detected the same substance in all her descendants, aged two months to 13, and marijuana in one of them. The six minors and the mother are hospitalized, with one of the twin babies in serious condition.
