A 32-year-old woman was found dead in the Salta locality of San Agustín, and the Justice system is investigating if she was a victim of a crime. According to information from the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF) accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the discovery was made on Sunday in the vicinity of the Santa María Nogales neighborhood, near route 21. In this context, the penal prosecutor for the Femicide Unit, María Luján Sodero Calvet, ordered personnel from the Fiscal Investigations Corps to carry out analysis and expert examinations at the scene, while the body was transferred to the Forensic Thanatology Service of the CIF for an autopsy. The judicial official specified that the victim was 32 years old and has ruled out no hypotheses. It is suspected that the cause of death was asphyxiation by hanging, but this is under investigation, according to the portal of the newspaper El Tribuno.
