In the Argentine province of Río Negro, a 21-year-old man has been accused of sexual assault with penetration and remains in preventive custody. The assault occurred during a private party where the victim was a teenager. According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, the accused forcibly entered the room where the victim was, took advantage of her defenseless state, and abused her. The mother of the victim's friend was the first to learn about the incident and alerted the police of the Don Bosco precinct's Unit 24. The evidence includes the criminal complaint filed by the victim's father, the testimony of the friend who was in the house, and her mother who called the police, as well as the report from the Criminalistics Office and the items seized during the raid. The Guarantees Judge formally charged the suspect and set a four-month period for the preliminary stage of the criminal process. Additionally, a protocol was immediately activated for the victim to be attended by an interdisciplinary team at the Cipolletti hospital, consisting of doctors, psychologists, and social workers.
